Conservation led by the community
Project ACE is a multi-year partnership supporting conservation, citizen science, youth leadership, sustainable livelihoods and ecosystem restoration in the communities surrounding Danjugan Island.
Working alongside local conservationists, fisherfolk, schools and youth groups, the programme protects one of the Philippines’ most biodiverse marine sanctuaries while strengthening the resilience and prosperity of the people who depend on it.
From coral reef monitoring and mangrove restoration to scholarship programmes and enterprise support, ACE demonstrates how long-term, locally led partnerships can deliver measurable environmental and social impact — together.
